Engineering Technician £32,000 + Training + Internal Progression + Staff Discounts Nottingham (Commutable from: Derby, Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent, Loughborough, Leicester, Grantham, Melton Mowbray) Are you a Service Engineer, Workshop Engineer or Electrical Engineer looking for a stable, hands-on role where you'll be properly supported with training and clear development routes within a well-established business? This is a permanent, site-based position working on a wide range of workshop power tools and equipment. You'll be part of a team-focused environment with fixed working hours and long-term prospects. This company are the UK's leading specialist retailer of workshop power tools and equipment, with stores nationwide and over 45 years' experience. As a result of continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their service team in Nottingham. In this role you will inspect, diagnose, repair and service machinery, carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding, component replacement and engine rebuilds where required, while keeping accurate job cards and service records. This role would suit an electrically biased engineer with strong mechanical knowledge looking for security, support, and the chance to progress internally over time. The Role: • Workshop-based service, diagnosis and repair of tools and equipment • Mechanical & electrical fault finding, servicing and component replacement • Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:30, Friday 8:00-5:00 (site-based) The Person: • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline • Electrically biased with good mechanical knowledge (fault finding/repairs) • Background in plant, small plant, power tools, generators, compressors or similar (beneficial) Reference Number: BBBH281792 Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
