What we store
- Your account name, email address and securely hashed password.
- Your profile preferences, if supplied: contact details, postcode, preferred area, roles, sectors, work types, salary and experience.
- The jobs, notes, contacts, checklists, dates, calendar entries, reminders and resources you add, plus privately uploaded documents and their versions.
- Saved and hidden public jobs, private listing notes, saved searches, vacancy reports and the jobs already included in your alerts.
Why we use it
To run Lynkr for you: showing your jobs, reminders and calendar, tailoring recommendations to your preferences, and processing applications you choose to submit. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Applications submitted on Lynkr
Before you submit, you review the contact details, selected documents and answers that will be shared with the organisation advertising that vacancy. We keep a copy of the submission, including its CV files and the job details at that time. Later changes to your profile or CV do not alter it. Authorised members of that organisation can review your submission and send recruitment updates. Your private job-search notes, other documents and other applications are not shared with employers.
You can withdraw an application. The employer can then no longer download its submitted documents through Lynkr. Withdrawal cannot remove copies an employer has already downloaded.
Who can see it
Your personal workspace is available through your signed-in account. Public job adverts and employer organisation details can be browsed without an account. Authorised Lynkr administrators can review accounts, records, documents, applications and vacancy reports to operate the service, provide support and investigate abuse. Sensitive access and administrative changes are logged. Passwords and private access tokens are not shown in the admin area.
Recommendations are processed in Lynkr. Your postcode, profile, private notes and application history are not sent to external job providers. Opening an original advert takes you to another website with its own privacy policy.
Service analytics
We record your last successful sign-in and recent signed-in activity, including the days you use the app. Administrators can review this alongside counts of job records, updates, documents, calendar entries and applications to understand service usage and support accounts. Activity statistics do not record the text you type into forms or use third-party tracking cookies.
Cookies and notifications
Lynkr uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms from forgery. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage new-job alerts, email and device notifications in Profile & settings.
Your information and choices
You can see and change profile details, download your account data and delete your account in Profile & settings. Optional offline access stores account information on your device; its controls let you manage those local copies.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept until you delete it or your account. Deleting your account removes your direct applications and stored submission files from Lynkr. Employer records belong to the organisation. If its last active owner deletes their account, the organisation is suspended and its adverts close. Other applicants keep their application history. Deleted personal job records can be restored for 30 days before permanent removal, or permanently deleted sooner from Recently deleted. Server backup retention follows the service’s existing 30-day policy.
