Are you a Building Surveyor with subsidence / insurance claims experience looking to join a small, specialist consultancy where you can genuinely see your impact and take ownership of projects end-to-end?

On offer is a long-term role with a well-established independent surveying and engineering consultancy, working on a varied portfolio of domestic insurance instructions. You'll be supported with further qualifications and chartership, with clear scope to step up as your capability grows.

The business has been established for decades and operates with an open-door culture, giving you the autonomy to manage your workload while still having close support from experienced surveyors. Due to continued workload growth in the insurance market, they're now looking to strengthen their team.

In this role you'll split your time roughly 50/50 between the office and site, carrying out initial inspections on subsidence and other insurance claims, producing schedules of works and specifications, and overseeing repairs through to completion. You'll cover the South and South West with occasional overnight stays.

This role would suit a Building Surveyor who wants to deepen their technical knowledge, gain chartership support, and be recognised for delivering high-quality work in a close-knit team.

The Role:

• Insurance-related building surveys and subsidence investigations on domestic properties
• Producing specifications and schedules of works, managing queries and contract administration
• Overseeing repair works on site and managing projects through to completion
• Covering the South & South West; approx. 50/50 office and site-based
• Occasional overnight stays

The Person:

• Building Surveyor / Surveyor with experience in subsidence, defects or insurance claims work
• Strong communication and written/report writing skills
• Full UK driving licence, own vehicle, and willingness to travel
