Excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join an internationally recognised manufacturer, in a full-time/permanent role, working a Mon-Fri days shift.

Based in Birmingham, the company designs and manufactures specialist products for the marine industry. They pride themselves on being a great place to work, which is shown by their great staff retention. They have recently moved to newly equipped larger premise and due to growth are seeking a Machine Operator/Mechanical Assembler to join their team.

In this role, you will manufacture and assemble mechanical components, using a range of manual machines, bench processes and engineering techniques. You will also be responsible for finishing components and ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards.

THE ROLE:
*Manufacturing mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
*Operating manual machinery and carrying out finishing processes, including polishing, linishing and painting.
*Following engineering drawings and assembly instructions, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

THE PERSON:
*Experience using manual machinery, including lathes, mills, drills and presses.
*Ability to read engineering drawings, follow assembly instructions and use measuring equipment.
