Primary Teacher - Fixed term until 29/06/2027 Tollcross Primary SchoolSalary: £36,159 - £54,453Hours: 35 per week, 52 weeks per yearTollcross Primary School in the south east of Edinburgh is an associated Primary School of the James Gillespie's High School Learning Community. We currently have a FTC vacancy covering a Career Break. This will start on 05/01/2027 until 29/06/27 and the class the successful candidate will be working with will be P4. The staff consists of a Head Teacher, a Depute Head Teacher, a Principal Teacher, 8 class teachers and 1 part time Additional Support for Learning Teacher. Our support staff includes a Business Manager, School Administrator, Facilities Technician, P1 Early Years Practitioner and 6 Pupil Support Assistants. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
